1. The next formal meeting will be held in Room 203 of the PFC (Peter Froggatt Centre) on Tuesday 5th December 2006 at 6PM.

Our guest speaker will be Gordon Lucy from the National Ulster Society. Who will present a small talk on the topic of Colonel Edward James Saunderson, 1st Leader of the Ulster Unionist Party who died 100 years ago this year.

This will also be an opportunity for those who have not yet signed up for membership to do so, for the sum of £3.

The topics for discussion will be:

  • Motions and Questions for the SRC on Wednesday 13th November 2006.
  • Quotations and Design for Society Hoodies.
  • Website and Publicity.
  • Preparations for events namely:
    Paintball “Team Building”
    Formal
    Invitational Lecture
    Other Talks
  • New members.
  • Other Buisness.


2. The Clubs and Societies Pub Quiz on Tuesday nights remains a very valuable source of club funds. We have received £200 for our society so far! However, to maintain this success we need your help. For a bit of fun and to help the cause, come on down to the speakeasy at 9:30 Pm every Tuesday! More info here.

4. Student Representative Councillors, if you have motions for the next council meeting, please make sure you come to ours, or at least inform us of them, so that the rest of the members can be prepared for their content.
