Presidents Welcome

I would like to take this opportunity to welcome all new and returning students to The Queen's University of Belfast.

Make sure to get along to the Clubs and Societies Bazaar this Wednesday 30th September and join the Ulster Society to celebrate our great culture and heritage for a fee of £3 and make this year bigger and better!

Night Of Culture

A big thank you to all who turned up to the Pro Evo Night which was without question a great nights banter for all who were involved!

The next event to look forward to is the "Night of Culture" on the 6th December in the Barrington. With entertainment from our friends in Pride of the Derg Flute Band and others, a guest speaker on the end of WWI to coincide with the 90th aniverssary of the signing of the armistice, and a disco afterwards, a fantastic night is guaranteed! All proceeds of the night to go to the Royal British Legion.

Also, thanks to everyone who turned up to the pub quiz night last month, I'm sure you'll agree everyone there had a great time.

Success and Next Event notice!!!

The Ulster Society saw a successful freshers day with a good number of new members signing up and old members returning to get their names on the books. I would like to personally thank each and every person who showed an interest in our stall that day, and look forward to meeting you all at our meetings and social events!

14th Oct: Clubs & Societies weekly quiz - Speakeasy (1st floor), the Students Union.
Come out and have a good time, get to know each other, challenge your intellect, and win money for the society!

It would be great to see a good turnout and for a chance to get to know everyone, so please do make the effort if you can! Hope to see you there, I'll send out an email very soon.

May I first of all welcome you to the Queens Ulster Society website! I trust you've all had a relaxing and enjoyable summer, and are looking forward to starting / returning to Queens.

Whether you're just beginning your time or returning for another year I hope it will be successful and worthwhile for you.

Looking ahead...

The Freshers Bazaar this year will be on Wed 1st Oct in the snack bar on the top floor of the SU. Keep this date in your diaries and come along to join the Ulster Society for a fee of just £3 , meet a few members, and help make this year bigger and better for the Ulster Society. With regular meetings, fantastic guest speakers and many social events planned, its sure to be a great year for the society, make sure you're a part of it!
