WELCOME to all new and returning members ! The purpose of the Newsletter is to keep you up-to-date with what’s going on in the Club. You will find that you’ve joined one of the most vibrant and active clubs at Queens. Whether your interest is self-defence, fitness conditioning, the art, competition, or just a whole host of new drinking mates, you’ll soon come to realise that the you’ve joined the right Club!
Congratulations to all who participated. If you’re interested in competing, ask for details regarding the SQUAD TRAINING sessions which are organised separately from the regular Club sessions. These sessions are designed to accelerate the learning pace of the individual and their effectiveness is borne out by the competitive success of the Club to date.

Many individuals who begin martial arts find their first class rather daunting ... DON’T ! Come with an open mind and a willingness to learn and don’t be afraid to ask questions. You don’t need a gi (karate suit) - loose fitting clothing is fine.
