Three of the Club's instructors were awarded the following Competition Judge awards by Tommy Morris at a recent Referee Course hosted by ONAKAI:

At the recent BUSA 2000 Karate Championships, a handful of up and coming Club members travelled to Nottingham to compete in their first ever national student competition. The inexperienced squad put up a good show and seasoned competitor Fiona achieved a Bronze Medal in the Senior Women's Heavyweight category.
