Student Community Action (or SCA) is an anti-sectarian, non-political and pro-equal opportunities organisation within Queen's Students' Union aimed at bringing students and the local community together through cooperation in beneficial voluntary activities.

If you would like to get involved in local voluntary work, or even if you're involved already, then please register with us and we will do everything we can to represent and support you, in order to make your time as a student volunteering easier and more fulfilling.

Our basic mission is to represent you, provide information and support, and to respond to local community needs by initiating and managing community projects.

QUBSU SCA, like over 180 such groups around the country,  is a branch of the UK Council Of Student Volunteers, and serviced by Student Volunteering UK.
