Club Profile

Queens University Belfast Association Football Club is one of the Universities oldest and largest sports clubs. The club were founder members of both the Irish League 'B' Division (now Division 2) in 1951 and the Northern Amateur Football League, the oldest and biggest amateur league in Northern Ireland, in 1923.

Currently the club run teams in four leagues across Northern Ireland :

• Irish League Division 2
• Northern Amateur Football League Division 2B
• Northern Amateur Football League Division 3D
• Mid-Ulster Football League Division 4

The club also heavily involved in intervarsity football and enters teams in several intervarsiry leagues each year :

• National Universities League
• Northern Ireland Colleges League Division 1
• Northern Ireland Colleges League Division 2

The highlight of any season is always the various intervarsity competitions :

• Collingwood Cup
• Crowley Cup
• Harding Cup

Its fair to say that with all this and various other cup competitions thrown in for good measure QUBAFC has a more tightly packed schedule than any other university club or society.
