This Weeks Poll:

In order to generate revenue for the completion of work at Croke Park and for other GAA initiatives, it has been suggested that the stadium should be on offer to host international rugby or soccer games.
This week's poll asks participants to vote on whether they would agree.

Queen's GAA poll: Antrim County Final Ban

The St. Paul's and Cargin clubs have been banned from competitive activity for one year.
Do you agree with this ruling?

Result: 67% No   32% Yes
Total Number Voted: 57

A majority of participants in last weeks poll disagree with the recent ruling which bans the Cargin and St. Pauls clubs from competitive activity for a year. In the wake of the county final fiasco in Antrim, the county board handed down a number of individual suspensions, as well as one that prohibited both clubs from participating in GAA activities for one year.
The poll shows that 67% of visitors to the voting booth disagree with the club bans, while 32% are in favour of the ruling. The poll did not include a question on individual suspensions.

Queen's GAA poll: Sigerson Weekend

Do you think that the Sigerson weekend should offer a break day on the Saturday?

Result: 70% No   30% Yes
Total Number Voted: 54

By a clear 40% majority, participants in the first Queen's GAA poll have rejected the idea of offering a break-day during the Sigerson Cup weekend. This idea would involve the competition quarter-finals taking place on a Thursday, semi-finals on a Friday and the decider taking place on a Sunday. This is a proposal which has surfaced in light of the toll on participants and facilities during a three-day event.
However participants in the poll signalled a thumbs-down to the proposal, with 70% voting to maintain the present system
